Community Coordinator
Alex Currin was born in Raleigh and grew up in Louisburg, NC. He attended North Carolina State University and pursued a degree in Secondary English Education. After teaching English at Southern Nash High School for 6 years, he decided to become a Community Coordinator at NCSSM. He’s also worked as a camp counselor for Camp Oak Hill in Oxford, NC and volunteers with his church’s kids ministry. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Counseling at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. His hobbies include playing Civilization V, hoarding obscure board games, and forcing his friends to watch cat-related Tiktoks. Responsibilities
Serve as a resource and part of the support system for students
Provide fun and engaging hall activities
Ensure cleanliness standards on hall and in rooms
Work as part of a duty rotation and provide support to entire campus.
Directly handle minor disciplinary incidents and investigate larger incidents
Residential Life Assitants
RLAs are senior students that provide leadership, advice, and support for students on hall. They also help with the day to day running of the hall by taking check, checking housekeeping, and hosting some activities. Please remember that they are students, not professional staff members; please direct any questions or concerns about hall to me directly and not the RLAs.
Elijah Denton
Hi, I'm Elijah Denton! I'm from the small town of Wilson, NC which is right around the Rocky Mount area. I love all things biology and physics with a strong passion for birds in particular. In my spare time you'll usually find me hanging out with friends all over campus or enjoying a nice gaming session. I can't wait to meet you all and help you all with adjusting to campus throughout the year!
Sebastian Radomski
Hey everyone my name is Sebastian Radomski, and I am super excited to be working as an RLA on 3rd West this year. A few things about me include that I was born in Bristol, Connecticut, and moved down to South Charlotte, more specifically a small town called Weddington, when I was two. I love football and hockey so watch parties will be plentiful. I also enjoy the outdoors and in my free time, I like to game. I look forward to a great year with you all and I hope to form a strong and safe community at NCSSM.
Davin Tipton
Hello! My name’s Davin Tipton and I’m excited to be a 3W RLA for this year! I like physics, photography, r&b and jazz music, video games, and analog watches. I currently do research on hypervelocity stats using computational modeling. If you have any questions about NCSSM and residential life, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
